Christian Opportunity Center (COC) provides services to more than 300 people with disabilities in four regions of southern Iowa. Both staff and volunteers serve in all COC regions.

COC-Pella/Knoxville and COC-Indianola offer a full range of services for working and living. Work skills training includes Pella’s plant, Community-Based Employment (CBE) program, and supervised work crews. Training in living skills includes homes with 24-hour staff support, apartments with minimal staff support, and community-based living arrangements with follow-along support.

COC-Oskaloosa provides training in life skills and work skills, both in its plant and its CBE program. COC also owns two homes in Des Moines and staffs one home in Waukee, which provide residential supports and services.
