Life Skills Instructors/Job Developers are responsible to effectively communicate our goals, purpose mission and efforts while also providing oversight/job coaching for individuals employed.
- Successful candidate must build lasting relationships and rapport with managers in charge and human resource departments.
- Creative thinker who can break down barriers to employment and locate community jobs for individuals with disabilities.
- Responsible for working with people with disabilities to ensure that they are functioning at the highest level of responsibility and independence possible, within their individual interests, priority needs, skills, and abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively.
- Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
- Must have either an Associate degree, or two years of experience in Community Based Employment.
1 FT position available at 40 hrs/wk. $17/hr. Mostly Mon-Fri day hours, with some evening and weekends possible on occasion.
