Our Services
Des Moines
House C – HOME CHARACTERISTICS: The house is a ranch-style 4-bedroom house in Clive. This home is not wheelchair accessible. The available room is located on the main level, and there is a bathroom with a shower that would be shared with two other roommates. There is a second common area located in the basement. The house currently has 3 females, ages 23-36. This is a 24-hour home with staff available for the roommates. Rent at the home is 30% of the renter’s income per month. Utilities, cable, yard maintenance, and other living expenses (i.e., groceries) are split among the housemates. The house is owned by Christian Opportunity Center.
LOOKING FOR: A female with an easy-going personality on the ID waiver would be an ideal housemate. The housemates are looking for someone who prefers to stay home and do simple activities. The individual will be encouraged to attend a day program or work.
