Job Developer/Coach – Life Skills instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic professional to join our team in a dual-role position combining Job Development and Life Skills/Job Coaching. This unique opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence, community integration, and employment success. This position requires a 2-year degree, or 2 years of experience in a Community Based Employment setting.

Job Development Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community employers.
  • Educate businesses on the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify workforce needs and explore creative partnership opportunities with COC.
  • Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and promote employment opportunities for program participants.

Life Skills & Job Coaching Responsibilities

  • Work directly with individuals with diverse abilities to provide high-quality support and instruction.
  • Assist participants in developing essential life skills that enhance daily living and community inclusion.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to help individuals learn workplace expectations, build confidence, and succeed in employment settings.
  • Promote personal growth, independence, and community engagement.


    1 FT position available – 40 hrs/wk

    Schedule: Mostly Mon – Fri day hours, with some evenings and weekend hours possible on occasion. 
    $17.50+/hr
